TERROIR and CLIMATE :

The clay-siliceous soil is perfect for the production of Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur red wines.

The estate is set on a hillock and benefits from exceptional sun exposure which helps the ripening of the grapes.

VINES

The average age of the vines is 22 years old, and it is planted with the traditional Bordeaux grape varieties :

  • 80% merlot,
  • 10% Cabernet Franc,
  • 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Great attention is paid to the vine. "Double Guyot" pruning is done on most of the vineyard as it is adapted to the vine plant and limits yield.

Leaf-thinning is operated allowing better sun exposure and grapes of optimal ripeness.

SITUATION
